Raya Development Foundation (RDF Canada) is a registered charitable organization in Canada. It is committed to alleviating the economic, educational, and social hurdles of the Raya communities, mainly residing in southern Tigray and other parts of Ethiopia. It envisions expanding its activities to other communities beyond southern Tigray as it becomes financially capable to do so.
It is a non-profit and non-political organization with the following core objectives:
The relief of poverty.
The advancement of education.
The advancement of improved public health.
 RDF Canada aspires to work beyond borders of politics, religion, culture, race, gender, and ethnicity. It plans to collaborate with organizations and individuals who share common values and objectives, within the limits of its governing clauses.
