The Eritrean Canadian Community Association of Calgary (ECCAC) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to serving the Eritrean community in Calgary and beyond. Established to preserve our cultural heritage and support the successful integration of Eritrean newcomers, ECCAC provides vital programs, advocacy, and resources that empower individuals and strengthen families.
ECCAC is a neutral, non-political, and non-religious organization that welcomes and serves all members of the Eritrean community regardless of background or belief.
Our organization acts as a bridge between generations and cultures—promoting unity, cultural pride, and civic engagement. Through partnerships with local institutions, government agencies, and grassroots organizations, we offer services ranging from refugee sponsorship and settlement support to educational programs, youth empowerment initiatives, and community development projects.
