I am an Ethiopian-born African, European and Canadian-trained artist.   A scholarship from the Italian government allowed me to attend universities in Italy.  Further, I studied at Medicine Hat College in Canada on Nova corporation scholarship and I am the recipient of a Certificate of Merit from the Alberta government for scholastic achievement and Our Image award in established artists category.
Over the course of my career, I have exhibited in over 30 individual exhibitions, 20 group exhibitions.  My work has been shown in the USA, Canada, Africa, the Caribbean and Europe. 
In addition, my work adorns the personal spaces of boxing champion Lennox Lewis, former Argo quarter back Rocket Ishmael artist Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd) and many more
