The Ethiopian Musicians Association Canada is a non-profit organization established in 2016. The association since its establishment has conducted various surveys to ascertain the level of challenge among Ethiopian newcomers to integrate with Canadian cultures and values. Particularly, as our survey revealed new comers to Canada found it difficult to integrate easily. Among the challenges the association identified job search, languages and stress are most common to all refuges interviewed by the association. Therefore, the association, as a not-profit organization would like to intervene in the above areas to fill the gap created the lack of efforts to redress these social problems.
